I purchased this for a 2.5 year old and ordered the 2/3 year old size. This beautiful dress fits her perfectly, but she is very thin. It is so beautiful and that is the reason for the 5 star review, but it was difficult to get it on and even more difficult to get it off. If in doubt, buy a size up. Beautiful dress, with great swing. Probably the prettiest, dress she owns. Like I mentioned, very form fitting through the bodice.
